Netflix is set to celebrate ‘World Laughter Day’ with a special episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, featuring host Kapil Sharma alongside digital creators Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia. The episode will stream on May 2.
According to a PTI report, the special episode has been curated to mark the occasion of World Laughter Day, bringing together a mix of comedy, conversations and celebrity interactions. The show continues its signature format while adding a festive twist for the global celebration of humour.
The episode will also feature popular cast members Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda, who will appear in their well-known roles during a segment titled ‘TGIKS News Debate’. Known for its satirical take on current events, the segment is expected to add an extra dose of laughter to the special.
Kapil Sharma said the idea behind the episode was to celebrate the audience’s continued love for the show while creating something engaging and entertaining for the occasion.
