Actor Jitendra Kumar is set to lead the upcoming romantic comedy ‘Tedhi Hain Par Meri Hain’, alongside Mahvash, in a film presented by Remo D’Souza and directed by Jayesh Pradhaan.
Written by Pradeep Singh, the project promises a fresh take on imperfect yet deeply relatable relationships, framed through a humorous and heartfelt lens.
Produced by Ishan Shilpi Verma, Vishal Tyagi and Anwar Ali Khan, in association with Kuree Studio and Shaisha Motion Pictures, the film also features music by National Award-winning composer Ismail Darbaar.
According to an ANI report, Remo D’Souza said the story resonated with him for its grounded emotionality and its celebration of flawed characters. He noted that narratives rooted in reality and filled with a unique spark have always defined his filmmaking journey. Praising the casting, he added that having Jitendra Kumar on board brings an effortless blend of comedy and vulnerability that is expected to strike a chord with audiences.
Jitendra Kumar, known for his acclaimed performances in ‘Panchayat’, ‘Kota Factory’, ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ and ‘Bhagwat: Chapter One – Raakshas’, said the film’s title itself encapsulates the spirit of raw, unfiltered love. He described his role as wonderfully flawed and refreshingly real, expressing confidence that the film will resonate with viewers who understand that the most meaningful relationships often thrive in imperfection. Mahvash echoed this sentiment, sharing that she was drawn to the project for its chaotic yet authentic storytelling, and for characters who feel like people one could genuinely know.
‘Tedhi Hain Par Meri Hain’ is being positioned as a quirky, engaging romance where imperfection takes centre stage and love evolves amid relatable chaos.
The film is expected to deliver a vibrant, humorous narrative that celebrates the beautiful madness of human relationships.
