Telecom network operator Reliance Jio has joined hands with smartphone maker One Plus to establish a 5G innovation lab for testing and developing new 5G technologies.
“The alliance between OnePlus and Jio aims to provide OnePlus and Jio True 5G users with differentiated features and an unparalleled network experience. To bolster these initiatives, both brands are excited to announce the establishment of a state-of-the-art 5G innovation lab,” The Economic Times reported.
The collaboration shall enable the development and testing of new features and experiences, resulting in faster implementation and delivery to end-users.
“Today, Jio True 5G covers the entire country with a robust True 5G network. 85% of the entire 5G deployment in India is made by Jio,” a Jio spokesperson said.
