Hollywood action star Jason Statham will return to the big screen with his next thriller ‘Shelter’, which is set to release in theatres worldwide on January 30, 2026.
The film, directed by Ric Roman Waugh — best known for ‘Greenland’ — promises to deliver a high-octane mix of suspense and action. Shelter is being produced under the banners of Black Bear, Punch Palace Pictures, CineMachine and Stampede Ventures.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project also features Bodhi Rae, Naomi Ackie, and veteran actor Bill Nighy in key roles alongside Statham.
Statham, who has carved his niche as one of Hollywood’s most bankable action stars with films such as ‘The Transporter’ series, ‘The Expendables’ franchise and ‘Fast & Furious’ spin-offs, is expected to lead another adrenaline-packed ride with this upcoming release.
Further details about the storyline of ‘Shelter’ are being kept under wraps, but with Waugh at the helm and a strong ensemble cast, the film is already generating buzz among audiences.
