Actor, dancer, and television personality Jaaved Jaaferi shared an emotional and reflective Eid message while celebrating the festival amid the shoot of Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming dance reality show, ‘India’s Best Dancer Season 5’.
Known for his immense contribution to India’s dance culture and entertainment industry, Jaaved said this year’s Eid feels especially meaningful as he gets to celebrate it while doing something he deeply loves — witnessing and encouraging emerging dance talent from across the country.
Speaking about the significance of the festival and his experience on the show, Jaaved Jaaferi said Eid, for him, represents a connection with both the creator and creation. He described the festival as a time for prayer, love, family, food, warm embraces, and moments that remain close to the heart.
He further added that celebrating Eid while being part of ‘India’s Best Dancer Season 5’ feels like an extension of his personal belief that doing what one loves with complete dedication is a way of giving back positive energy to the universe.
“There’s something deeply gratifying about working during festivities when the work itself feels like a celebration of culture, passion, and togetherness,” Jaaved shared.
The veteran performer also praised the contestants of the new season for embracing the show’s theme, ‘India Wala Dance’, with honesty and passion. According to him, watching participants bring their individuality and cultural roots onto the stage has been inspiring.
In his Eid message, Jaaved extended warm wishes to viewers and encouraged people to continue spreading positivity, joy, and kindness while also remembering to support the less fortunate.
‘India’s Best Dancer Season 5’ will premiere on June 6 at 9.30 pm on Sony Entertainment Television and will also stream on Sony LIV. The new season promises to showcase extraordinary dance talent from different corners of the country, with Jaaved Jaaferi joining the judging panel once again.
