Ishita from the city of Khanna took the winner’s trophy and the Rs. 100,000 cash prize home while becoming the winner of ‘Voice of Punjab Chhota Champ’.
The past seasons had witnessed three boys and three girls as winners.
The first runner up in the show was Prince Kumar from Batalawas with a cash prize of Rs.50, 000 and Mannat from Patiala was the second runner up contestant who won a cash prize of Rs. 25,000.
The 7th season had some of the illustrious artists from the Punjabi entertainment industry to judge the show.
Singer Afsana Khan, ace music director Sachin Ahuja and renowned lyricist and singer Bir Singh worked their way to choose the finalists through the seven weeks journey to the finale.
However, famous music director Tejwant Kittu mentored the participants.
During the course of 28 episodes, a lot of renowned Punjabi artists visited the show and the sets of ‘Voice of Punjab Chhota Champ 7’ to boost the talent who were Dolly Gulleria, Miss Pooja, Atul Sharma, Master Saleem, Jasbir Jassi, Kanwar Grewal, Singga, Mannat Noor, Kulwinder Billa, Feroz Khan, Khan Saab, Yuvraj Hans, Preet Harpal, Happy Raikoti, Shipra Goyal, and Gurmeet Singh.
At the end of the show, Rabindra Narayan, M.D & President, PTC Network, said, “It is so heartening to see these little singers develop into full fledged stars in their own right by the time they reach the Grand Finale. PTC is proud to be able to shape some lives and launch new careers.”
On her win, Ishita said, “It was a dream come true, I consider myself fortunate to be winning this trophy; for me participating in the coveted show was an achievement and, of course, winning it is a moment of my life to cherish for years to come.”
