Insurtech platform InsuranceDekho has partnered with Indian cricket as the co presenting on air broadcast sponsor for India’s three match T20I series against Zimbabwe, which begins on July 23.
According to a PTI report from New Delhi today, the company has also secured the on ground title sponsorship for India’s two Test tour of Sri Lanka in August.
As part of the agreement, the Test series will be officially branded as the InsuranceDekho Cup.Former India captain Sourav Ganguly, who is the brand ambassador for InsuranceDekho, will lead the campaign promoting the partnership.
The company said the association reflects its aim to connect with millions of cricket fans across the country while strengthening its brand through one of India’s most popular sports.
Speaking about the partnership, Ganguly said that a cricket team performs with greater confidence when it knows it has strong support behind it.
He added that InsuranceDekho works with the same philosophy by supporting its advisors, customers and now Team India.
He also highlighted the company’s campaign, ‘Bharat, Khul Kar Khelo,’ which encourages people to move forward with confidence.
InsuranceDekho said the partnership is part of its strategy to expand its presence across India by using cricket as a platform to reach a wider audience.
The company will gain visibility during the television broadcast of the Zimbabwe T20I series and through on-ground branding during the Sri Lanka Test series.
With this association, InsuranceDekho further strengthens its presence in sports marketing while supporting India’s international cricket tours and increasing awareness of its insurance platform among cricket fans.
