Hungama OTT is set to premiere ‘Kaun Con Hai?’, a multi-narrative crime drama that explores the devastating impact of fraud, deception, and human vulnerability across different parts of India. Directed by Ashrit Wadhwa, the film will begin streaming on the platform from May 27, 2026, bringing together an ensemble cast led by Seema Biswas, Gopal Datt, Manish Wadhwa, Shruti Ulfat, Rajendra Chawla, Robit Das, and Zachary Coffin.
According to a Hungama OTT press release, ‘Kaun Con Hai?’ unfolds through four interconnected stories set in Goa, Kashmir, Delhi, and Bombay. Each narrative explores a different dimension of fraud and survival, highlighting how ordinary individuals often become trapped in circumstances beyond their control. Through multiple perspectives, the film examines the emotional and financial consequences of deception, showing that scams often leave behind scars that go far beyond monetary loss.
The Goa chapter follows a grandmother, played by Seema Biswas, who is desperately trying to save her drug-addicted granddaughter. As the situation worsens, she finds herself facing difficult moral choices that challenge her values and test the limits of her love and sacrifice. The segment also features Shinnova and Zachary Coffin in pivotal roles.
In Kashmir, the story centres on vulnerable individuals who are lured by false promises of safety and stability in exchange for money. Featuring Manish Wadhwa, Manuj Walia, and Jidnya Sujata, the narrative explores how hope can sometimes be manipulated by those seeking to exploit desperation.
The Delhi chapter shifts focus to a middle-class family preparing for their daughter’s wedding. Starring Rajendra Chawla, Yotsana Atree, Ruchi Tripathi, and Ahan Nirban, the story takes a dramatic turn when the family falls victim to a lottery scam, exposing the emotional turmoil and financial distress that follow.
Meanwhile, the Bombay segment portrays the struggles of a lower-income Muslim family attempting to navigate emotional and economic hardships during the pandemic. Featuring Shruti Panwar, Gopal Datt, Jayant Rawal, and Robit Das, the story captures the resilience of individuals trying to survive in uncertain times while confronting challenges that threaten to overwhelm them.
Speaking about the film, director Ashrit Wadhwa said the project is ultimately about people and their vulnerabilities. He noted that the stories explore how emotions, hope, and desperation can often make individuals susceptible to deception, creating situations that profoundly alter their lives.
Actor Seema Biswas said what resonated most with her was the film’s emotional honesty. According to her, beneath the crime and fraud lies a deeply human story about families, survival, and the difficult decisions people are forced to make when confronted with extreme circumstances.
By weaving together stories from different regions and social backgrounds, ‘Kaun Con Hai?’ aims to offer a broader commentary on the growing prevalence of scams and the human cost behind them. Combining crime, drama, and social realism, the film seeks to highlight how deception affects people across communities, regardless of geography or economic status.
With its ensemble cast, emotionally driven narratives, and socially relevant themes, ‘Kaun Con Hai?’ is positioned as a thought-provoking addition to Hungama OTT’s content lineup when it premieres on May 27.
