Singer-turned-actor Himesh Reshammiya has announced his new film ‘Jaanam Terii Kasam’ on his birthday, July 24. The film, set to release in October 2025, will be produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies in association with Rao and Sapru Films. Known for its heartbreak melodies, the film promises to be a poignant teenage love story.
Himesh shared the news along with a teaser of the title track, highlighting his collaboration with directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru. The project aims to explore the intensity and passion of teenage love, characterized by despair and a lack of hope for the future, IANS reported.
Announcing the film on social media, Himesh wrote, “Jis dard mein aaraam hai ISHK usi ka naam hai (the pain that brings comfort is called love), @sameeranjaanofficial #jaanam terii kasam jai Matadi let’s rock make your own #reels on the title track teaser of our new film Jaanam Terii Kasam produced by Himesh Reshammiya melodies and directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru starring a fresh lead pair, releasing Dussehra 2025, the story of the saddest love Jaanam Terii Kasam (sic).”
Himesh expressed his excitement about working with directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, with whom he previously collaborated on the music of Sanam Teri Kasam. While Jaanam Terii Kasam is not a sequel to Sanam Teri Kasam, it is a new tragic tale of star-crossed lovers, enriched by a powerful soundtrack. Himesh assured fans of a timeless album that would resonate with every music lover.

Himesh Reshammiya was last seen in ‘Happy Hardy Heer ‘in 2020. With ‘Jaanam Terii Kasam’, he aims to bring a new tragic love story to the silver screen, promising an unforgettable musical and emotional journey.
