Acclaimed filmmaker Hansal Mehta has taken a significant step forward in his creative journey by launching his own production house, True Story Films, in collaboration with producer Sahil Saigal, The Variety has reported.
The company, focused on delivering compelling narratives across films and OTT platforms, has also onboarded Vinod Bhanushali’s Bhanushali Studios Ltd and Parag Sanghvi as strategic partners. This collaboration will spearhead projects valued collectively at Rs.500 crore.

True Story Films, under Mehta’s creative vision and Saigal’s business expertise, aims to develop feature films and web series across genres, including dramas, thrillers, romances, and inspiring real-life stories, The Variety report stated.
The partnership has announced an ambitious slate of films and web shows set to go into production in 2025, with releases beginning in early 2026.
