On Sunday, the eagerly awaited poster of the upcoming Punjabi film ‘Shahkot’, starring Guru Randhawa, was unveiled, offering a glimpse into the film’s intriguing narrative.
The poster showcases two images of Guru, one where he holds a passport and another where he walks on the tarmac with his luggage in hand. This film marks Guru Randhawa’s debut in Punjabi cinema and boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Isha Talwar, Raj Babbar, Seema Kaushal, Hardip Gill, and Gurshabad in pivotal roles, IANS reported.
Written and directed by Rajiv Dhingra, renowned for his work on ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil‘ and films like ‘Love Punjab’ and ‘Firangi’, ‘Shahkot’ promises to be more than just a conventional love story. Rajiv Dhingra expressed, “As a Director, my sole aim is to present stories that resonate with both mass appeal and class, catering to global audiences.”
Produced by Anirudh Mohta of Aim7Sky Studios in collaboration with 751 Films & Rapa Nui’s Films, ‘Shahkot’ is set against a backdrop of melodious music and a compelling storyline. The music and background score are composed by Jatinder Shah.

Scheduled for release on October 4, ‘Shahkot’ promises to captivate audiences with its blend of melody, narrative depth, and highly anticipated performances. The film will be theatrically distributed worldwide by Seven Colors.
