Google Gemini has become the most popular AI platform among Instagram creators in India, beating ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity in terms of creator posts and engagement. The report shows that more creators are making content about Gemini compared to other AI platforms.
According to a Storyboard18.com report today, Gemini recorded around 22.9K posts from micro influencers, while ChatGPT received around 6.8K posts. It also performed better among nano and macro creators.
Gemini also saw higher activity across different content categories, including entertainment, beauty, lifestyle, fashion, technology, and health.
In the entertainment category, Gemini received around 11.5K posts, while ChatGPT had about 2.8K posts. Instagram Reels were the most preferred format for AI-related content. Gemini creators made around 27.8K Reels, compared to 9.1K Reels for ChatGPT.
Carousel posts were also higher for Gemini.The report analysed nearly 10,000 AI focused influencers and found that most creators still work with only one AI platform. Around 8,200 creators were linked exclusively to a single AI brand.
Among creators who use multiple AI platforms, Gemini and ChatGPT had the highest overlap, sharing around 1,700 influencers. Gemini also shared creators with Claude and Perplexity, showing its strong presence in the AI creator community.
The report suggests that Google’s creator outreach strategy has helped Gemini become a major name in India’s AI influencer space.
