The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited bids for the title sponsorship rights of its domestic and international home events.
According to a PTI report from New Delhi yesterday, the move comes as the current title sponsorship agreement with IDFC FIRST Bank is nearing the end of its tenure.
The cricket board has issued an Invitation to Tender (ITT), inviting companies and organisations to bid for the rights through a competitive process. The ITT document will be available to interested parties on payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs.1 lakh plus applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST).
The BCCI released the ITT on July 20, 2026. Interested companies can purchase the tender document until August 4, while the deadline for seeking clarifications is August 5. The last date for submitting bid documents is August 13.
BCCI has stated that only companies fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned in the ITT document will be allowed to participate in the bidding process. Simply purchasing the tender document will not guarantee the right to submit a bid.
The board will evaluate the bids received through the tender process and select the new title sponsor for its upcoming domestic and international home events.
