EPIC Studios and Rusk Media Private Limited have joined hands to create 50 original vertical drama series.The partnership comes as more viewers are turning to short-form content designed for mobile phones.
Vertical dramas are usually made in a mobile-friendly format and are designed to be watched easily on smartphone screens.
According to a PTI report from Mumbai today, the collaboration aims to meet the growing demand for vertical dramas in India and globally. The two companies plan to create a large library of original vertical drama content.
The partnership will also focus on developing and owning original intellectual property (IP) in the vertical-drama space, as this format continues to grow among digital audiences.
EPIC Studios and Rusk Media said the collaboration is aimed at creating content at a larger scale and strengthening their position in India’s growing short-form entertainment market.
