DocuBay, the IN10 Media Network-backed streaming platform for premium, thought-provoking documentaries, is strengthening its position as a hub for impactful, non-fiction storytelling. With a growing library of acclaimed titles, the platform is pushing the boundaries of the documentary genre in India’s digital space, curating narratives that not only entertain but also inform, challenge, and inspire.
In a press release, the platform highlighted its focus on credible, fact-based narratives through both Originals and acquired titles. The catalogue already features award-winning works like ‘Kargil 1999: The Untold Story of the Indian Air Force’, ‘12 Digit Masterstroke: The Untold Story of Aadhaar’, ‘The Dupatta Killer’, and ‘Fanatics’, delving into themes of geopolitics, identity, crime, and socio-political change.
Its next big release, ‘Operation Maa’, will premiere exclusively on DocuBay on August 27. The original documentary tells the emotional and inspiring story of how a mother’s love became a driving force to reclaim radicalized youth in Kashmir, weaving together themes of courage, reconciliation, and national spirit.
Aditya Pittie, Managing Director of IN10 Media Network, said the platform aligns with a growing audience appetite for purposeful storytelling. “DocuBay celebrates real stories, real people, and real impact. We see a growing appetite for documentaries that challenge perspectives and spark dialogue, and DocuBay is well positioned to lead that movement, both in India and globally,” he said.
Samar Khan, Chief Content Officer, DocuBay, noted a shift towards content with depth and authenticity. “With Operation Maa and our expanding Originals lineup, we are exploring themes that are emotionally resonant as well as socially and culturally relevant,” he said.
As the documentary format gains traction among Indian audiences, DocuBay aims to remain at the forefront, championing immersive and credible storytelling that shapes conversations at home and abroad.
