Disney+ Hotstar has teamed up with the ‘Global Boxing Series’ to bring live coverage of the pro boxing event set to take place in Mumbai on June 1.
Spearheaded by Promoter Devraj Das and Co-Promoter Salil Acharya, a renowned actor, RJ, and advocate of professional boxing, this series promises to blend action, entertainment, and high-quality broadcasting to create a premier platform for boxing enthusiasts in India.
According to the platform, the partnership with Disney+ Hotstar ensures that fans can enjoy all the excitement in 4K HD, delivering every punch and knockout with unmatched clarity and precision. This collaboration marks a significant step in enhancing the viewing experience for boxing fans across the country.
The event will feature eight thrilling fights, showcasing 16 boxers across various weight categories including ‘Super Middleweight’, ‘Light Heavyweight’, ‘Super Welterweight’, ‘Welterweight’, ‘Super Lightweight’, ‘Lightweight’, ‘Featherweight’, ‘Super Bantamweight’, and ‘Super Flyweight’.
Additionally, the series will present the first-ever influencer Marquee Showdown, pitting prominent influencers Tayne DeVilliers and Ishant Rawat, also known as ‘Knucklehead Warrior’, against each other.
In a bid to promote diversity in the sport, the ‘Global Boxing Series’ will also highlight prominent female boxers, adding to the excitement and broadening the appeal of the competition.
