Comic Con India has officially announced the dates for its flagship festival, Delhi Comic Con 2025-26, which will be held from December 5 to 7.
Since its inception in 2011, Delhi has been the launchpad of Comic Con India, serving as the heartbeat of the country’s pop-culture revolution. Over the years, the event has brought together thousands of fans, creators, and artists through its extravagant cosplay contests, comic book collections, fan meet-ups, exclusive merchandise, and immersive experiences. The previous edition drew more than 52,000 visitors and featured a mix of stand-up comedy by Ashish Solanki, Ravi Gupta and Rohan Joshi, alongside performances by musicians like Panther and rapper Fotty Seven.
According to a Press release, where Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and MD of NODWIN Gaming, reflected on the legacy of Delhi Comic Con. “Delhi will always be home for Comic Con India. This is where it all began in 2011, when a small group of fans, artists, and creators turned a simple idea into a cultural movement. Every year since, the city has given us the biggest stage and the loudest voice. This December, I can’t wait to see the capital once again transform into India’s biggest celebration of stories, characters, and imagination,” he said.
Comic Con has grown beyond just a convention to become a hub for learning, networking, and creative growth. The festival offers panel discussions, workshops, industry meet-ups, and interactive fan zones where creators can connect directly with audiences and showcase their work. The event’s diverse attractions range from PC and console gaming tournaments to VR experiences like McLaren-themed racing and Chandrayaan simulations, ensuring there is something for every fan.
Over the years, Delhi Comic Con has also hosted globally acclaimed creators and guests including Ryan North (Marvel’s Squirrel Girl), Eisner Award-winning artist Jason Loo, Dan Parent (Archie Comics), David Lloyd (co-creator of V for Vendetta), as well as renowned Japanese voice actors like Kappei Yamaguchi (One Piece), Natsuki Hanae (Demon Slayer), and producer Yuma Takahashi.
Sharing her excitement, Shefali Johnson, CEO of Comic Con India, said, “Delhi Comic Con has always been close to my heart because of the fans who make it what it is. Every year I see people walk in with months of work behind their costumes, artists proudly showing their first printed comics, and groups of friends who plan the entire weekend around this festival. There is a warmth and excitement in Delhi that makes you feel like you are part of one big family.”
The upcoming edition promises a vibrant mix of comics, anime, manga, sci-fi, gaming, and music, making it the perfect three-day escape for fans to immerse themselves in India’s biggest pop-culture experience.
