Discovery will premiere its two-part documentary ‘Declassified: Operation Sindoor’ on August 15 offering viewers a closer look at India’s 88-hour military response following the Pahalgam terror attack.
The documentary will stream exclusively on Discovery and discovery+ from 9 to 11 pm on India’s 80th Independence Day.
According to a Warner Bros. Discovery India press release, the two-part series features first-hand accounts from senior military and national security leaders, operational commanders and frontline personnel involved in the operation.
Part One focuses on the events after the Pahalgam attack, including intelligence gathering, surveillance, target identification, mock drills and military preparations. Part Two covers the execution of Operation Sindoor, including the coordination between the Army, Navy and Air Force and key decisions taken during the operation.

The documentary also features former Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan (Retd.), along with defence experts and other people associated with the operation. It explores the planning, decision-making and military strategy behind the mission.
‘Declassified: Operation Sindoor’ is co-directed by Prabhu Asgaonkar and Manika Berry. The documentary is part of Discovery’s new ‘Declassified’ franchise, which aims to explore major events through the people who experienced them.
The series will be supported by a multi-platform campaign across television, cinema, outdoor, digital and social media.
