COLORS’ ‘Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki’ is set to enter a new chapter with Tanvi Dogra and Namik Paul taking over as the lead pair. The upcoming storyline introduces a restaurant rivalry that brings together two independent individuals with contrasting approaches to food, ambition and life.
According to a press release, the new chapter premieres on October 27 and will air daily at 7.30 pm on COLORS and JioHotstar. Produced by Mukta Dhond’s Malhar Productions, the show also features Kishori Shahane as Sarika Oberoi and Supriya Shukla as Jolly Juneja.
Tanvi Dogra plays Mannat Juneja, who runs her family’s Viraat Da Dhaba and believes that food is rooted in authenticity, love and memories. The dhaba represents a legacy left behind by her father, Surinder, and Mannat is determined to live up to her mother’s faith in her. For her, food is more than a business; it is a reflection of family traditions and the emotions attached to them.
In contrast, Namik Paul plays Kabir Oberoi, the owner of the upscale restaurant Mezbaani. Kabir believes in precision, innovation and perfection. Adopted into a wealthy family, he is driven by ambition and loyalty, but carries guilt over a tragedy that shattered Mannat’s family.
As Mannat’s traditional approach clashes with Kabir’s polished restaurant style, their professional rivalry leads to sharp exchanges and an unexpected connection. However, the past and the secrets they carry raise questions about whether their differences will bring them closer or create further distance between them.
Speaking about stepping into the title role, Tanvi Dogra said, “It is an absolute honour to step into the title role of a show that audiences have already welcomed into their homes and hearts. Actors Ayesha Singh and Adnan Khan have laid a beautiful foundation for Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki, and I salute the love, hard work and sincerity they have brought to their characters.”
She added that taking the story forward comes with both excitement and responsibility, as she hopes to carry the legacy ahead while making the new chapter memorable for viewers.
Namik Paul also spoke about joining the show and acknowledged the contribution of the previous lead pair, Ayesha Singh and Adnan Khan.
“To be trusted with this special story that viewers waited for every day feels like a great validation. Kudos to Ayesha Singh and Adnan Khan for the foundation they have built with Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki, giving the audience a romance they can root for,” Paul said.
He added that he hopes to carry the story forward alongside Tanvi in a way that honours the previous actors’ contribution while giving viewers new reasons to connect with the show. He also expressed excitement about exploring a story in which two individuals try to protect what matters most to them as love, rivalry and the past complicate their lives.
With the new leads and a storyline centred on food, family legacy, ambition and romance, ‘Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki’ is set to explore a fresh dynamic between its central characters. The new chapter begins on October 27, airing daily at 7.30 pm on COLORS and JioHotstar.
