CloudTV, India’s first homegrown Smart TV operating system, has strengthened its content slate by onboarding Swastik Stories India’s first cultural storytelling and entertainment FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) channel from Swastik Productions.
The partnership gives CloudTV OS users free access to an expansive lineup of mythological dramas, reimagined legends and original cultural narratives, bringing viewers closer to India’s timeless storytelling heritage.
According to the company, the collaboration further boosts CloudTV’s FAST channel library, which now includes more than 300 free channels across genres such as entertainment, news, kids and mythology. With a pan-India footprint of over 12 million users, CloudTV aims to offer a richer and more diverse content experience on Smart TVs across the country.
Swastik Stories, known for presenting India’s legacy through a contemporary and cinematic lens, expands CloudTV’s ecosystem with its culturally immersive programming. The channel showcases visually rich narratives and high-quality storytelling that appeal to both traditional audiences and new-age viewers. Swastik Stories has already built a strong following across digital platforms and offline, backed by Swastik Productions’ longstanding expertise in mythological and cultural storytelling.
Speaking about the partnership, Abhijeet Rajpurohit, COO and Co-Founder of CloudTV, said the platform is committed to building a content library that reflects the preferences of a diverse Indian audience. “This collaboration with Swastik Stories helps us bring together the richness of our cultural heritage with the possibilities of digital innovation. We look forward to continuing to expand our ecosystem of partners and shaping the future of connected entertainment in India,” he said.
Siddharth Kumar Tewary, Founder and Chief Storyteller at Swastik Stories, said the aim has always been to narrate India’s stories with authenticity and craftsmanship. “This partnership with CloudTV helps us take that effort into more homes and more hearts. If India’s stories can reach the next generation in a way that feels modern and meaningful, then we’re moving in the right direction,” he noted.
CloudTV has recently been expanding its cultural collaborations. Earlier, it partnered with Prasar Bharati’s WAVES OTT to bring public service and heritage content to Smart TVs. The platform has also entered the AdTech space with CloudTV Ads, a dedicated Connected TV advertising network designed to offer brands innovative, non-intrusive formats — including 3D ads — to enhance engagement and strengthen India’s programmatic CTV ecosystem.
