BBH India Managing Director Himanshu Saxena has taken on an expanded mandate as President – North & East for Saatchi & Saatchi India and Propagate, strengthening unified leadership across the three agencies in key markets.
The move, announced on December 4, aims to bolster regional capabilities, deepen client value and consolidate the agencies’ presence across North and East India.
According to a press release, Saxena who will continue to lead BBH India nationally, will now be based out of the Gurugram office in his additional role. He will continue reporting to Paritosh Srivastava, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi India, BBH India and Propagate.
Under the new structure, Saxena will anchor leadership in the region, supported by Hindol Purkayastha (EVP – North & East India), Nisheeth Srivastava (Senior Executive Creative Director) and Ankit Sharma (EVP – Planning). Together, the unified leadership team will help Saatchi & Saatchi India, BBH India and Propagate deliver more seamless, integrated and connected solutions to clients.
The agencies said the move will further strengthen Publicis Groupe’s ‘Power of One’ proposition in the region by bringing creative, digital and media capabilities closer together. The unified structure is expected to enhance collaboration across teams and offer brands more cohesive strategic thinking.
Saxena brings over 30 years of experience across advertising, marketing, brand management, digital, PR, design and market research. Since joining Publicis Groupe India in 2022 as MD of BBH India, he has earned a strong reputation for driving award-winning work and delivering business-impactful results for clients.
Commenting on the appointment, Paritosh Srivastava said the North and East markets are crucial growth hubs for the Groupe. “We already have a solid presence and valuable partnerships, and this leadership nucleus will help us further harness the Groupe’s capabilities and become a dominant creative force in the region. With this leadership bench, we’re bringing together the scale, depth and quality needed to unlock the next wave of growth,” he said.
In his statement, Saxena said the combined strengths of the three agencies will help deliver more powerful outcomes for brands. “With our combined creative and digital strengths, we’re uniquely positioned to deliver connected, end-to-end solutions that drive real business impact. I look forward to working alongside Paritosh and the teams to strengthen our regional capabilities and deliver powerful solutions that help our clients win,” he added.
