On the latest episode of Chrome Talkies, Sumeet Singh, Chief Marketing Officer at Info Edge India, joined host Mona Jain to share her perspectives on how marketing is evolving in an era shaped by technology, consumer shifts, and artificial intelligence.
According to Chrome Talkies, where Singh reflected on her recent experience at ad:tech 2025 in New Delhi. She observed how the platform serves as a unique bridge, enabling collaboration between established brands, promising startups, and global tech innovators. According to her, such gatherings are critical in sparking fresh conversations, exploring partnerships, and identifying emerging trends that will define the future of the industry.
Speaking about the challenges facing marketers today, Singh pointed to the growing fragmentation across television, digital platforms, and connected TV. She underlined that in such a fragmented ecosystem, research and data-driven insights have become indispensable to help brands make informed decisions and reach their audiences effectively.
Addressing the role of artificial intelligence, Singh made it clear that AI should not be seen as a threat but as an enabler. “AI is enhancing productivity, fuelling creativity, and helping teams deliver more with less,” she remarked, adding that marketers must embrace it to stay relevant in the fast-evolving landscape.
Despite the rapid integration of technology in marketing, Singh closed the conversation by stressing the irreplaceable value of human interaction. While processes have been streamlined by digital tools, she believes that the energy of in-person collaboration, spontaneous brainstorming, and the chemistry within teams will always remain central to building meaningful brands.
