Have light-touch regulation for M&E sector to flourish: Disney-Star India chief

Considering that India’s media and entertainment (M&E) sector contributes in various ways to the country’s economy, a top industry executive has said the industry sould be allowed to ‘flourish’ unfettered as heavy-handed regulations don’t address the interests of any stakeholder.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious. So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
