The wait is finally over for fans of the ‘Bridgerton’ universe! Netflix has officially announced that the much-awaited ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 will arrive in early 2026 — unfolding its next romantic tale across two parts. Part 1 of the series will premiere on January 29, followed by Part 2 on February 26. The upcoming chapter will feature a total of eight episodes, continuing the saga of the Bridgerton family that has captivated audiences worldwide.
According to a Netflix report, Season 4 will spotlight the artistic and free-spirited Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, as he steps into the limelight following the love stories of his siblings Anthony, Colin, Daphne, and Francesca. The new season draws inspiration from Julia Quinn’s third ‘Bridgerton’ novel, ‘An Offer from a Gentleman’, promising a fresh and enchanting twist on the classic Cinderella story.
The story unfolds with Benedict reluctant to settle down despite witnessing his brothers find their perfect matches — until he encounters a mysterious woman at Violet Bridgerton’s (Ruth Gemmell) grand masquerade ball. “The storyline is a bit of a twist on Cinderella. You remember being told those stories as a child — the magic and the romance of them,” Thompson shared. “It’s really exciting to have that weaved into the world we know of Bridgerton… It’s such a great story, but it’s also, I hope, really relatable.”
Yerin Ha joins the cast as Sophie, Benedict’s love interest — a resourceful maid with secrets of her own. Speaking about her character, Ha said, “What drew me to Sophie was that she immediately has obstacles — something that she constantly has to overcome. Whether it’s this battle around social status or trying to hide her feelings from Benedict.”
The fourth season will also see the return of familiar faces including Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton), Simone Ashley (Kate Bridgerton), Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Bridgerton), Claudia Jessie (Eloise Bridgerton), Luke Newton (Colin Bridgerton), and Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), among others. The ensemble cast also welcomes new additions such as Victor Alli, Masali Baduza, Michelle Mao, and Isabella Wei, ensuring another season filled with charm, glamour, and intrigue.
Jess Brownell continues as the showrunner for ‘Bridgerton’ S4, with Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, Tom Verica, and Chris Van Dusen serving as executive producers.
Before Season 4’s grand debut, fans can relive the whirlwind romances and dazzling drama of the previous seasons — all streaming now on Netflix.
