‘Baby Reindeer’ star Jessica Gunning is set to appear in Netflix’s upcoming dark comedy series ‘Feral’. The series is based on Shirley Conran’s 1987 novel of the same name.
According to a PTI report from Los Angeles, the series follows four women who are brought together after their husbands, who are all mining executives, are kidnapped.
The women find themselves on a dangerous tropical island and must work together to survive. Although they have their differences, they are forced to put them aside as they deal with the challenges on the island.
Gunning will play the character Annie. She is a devoted wife who has given up her own ambitions to raise her four sons. Her life is controlled by her husband, Duncan, who is described as a domineering man.
The story will mix dark comedy with survival and drama. The series will reunite Gunning with Netflix following her breakout performance in ‘Baby Reindeer’.
