Live Times has appointed Vipul Kumar as its new Vice-President for Sales. The appointment is aimed at strengthening the network’s sales and revenue operations across television, digital and other platforms.
Live Times said the move, announced yesterday, is part of its plan to build a stronger commercial team and offer advertisers more integrated opportunities across linear television, digital, branded content and partnerships.
Kumar brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and business development. His experience includes client management, new business development, team building, revenue management and handling profit and loss responsibilities.
Before joining Live Times, Kumar worked as AVP-Ad Sales at a leading news media company. In that role, he was responsible for generating revenue for regional and national news brands across corporate, retail and government businesses.
He also worked with advertisers and agencies across key northern markets, including Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Punjab.
As Vice President-Sales at Live Times, Kumar will work on the company’s sales strategy across television and digital platforms. His responsibilities will include strengthening relationships with advertisers and agencies, developing new business opportunities and creating integrated advertising solutions.
Dilip Singh, Founder and CEO of Live Times, said Kumar’s experience in revenue leadership, client relationships and regional markets will help strengthen the company’s commercial operations.
