Asianet is set to strengthen its fiction lineup with the launch of ‘Ee Puzhayum Kadannu’, a new family drama that explores womanhood, emotional strength, and the power of familial bonds. The serial brings a heartfelt narrative to the screen, focusing on resilience and unity in the face of sudden loss.
‘Ee Puzhayum Kadannu’ centres on the lives of four sisters—Ganga, Kaveri, Yamuna, and Nila—and their mother, whose world is turned upside down following the unexpected demise of the family’s patriarch. With the absence of a male figure to anchor the household, the women are compelled to confront emotional turmoil, social pressures, and difficult personal choices as they strive to rebuild their lives together.
The storyline traces the emotional journey of a mother and her daughters as they navigate grief, responsibility, and changing family dynamics. At its core, the serial highlights themes of love, unity, courage, and perseverance, presented through realistic storytelling layered with high-drama moments that resonate strongly with family audiences.
‘Ee Puzhayum Kadannu’ features a strong ensemble cast including Gomathi Priya, Kunjikrishan, Nisha Sarang, Haritha Nair, Revathy, Lakshya, and Prabin. The series is directed by Vishnu Chandran, who brings a grounded and emotionally rich treatment to the narrative.
With its focus on women-led storytelling and everyday struggles faced within Indian households, the show aims to strike an emotional chord with viewers. ‘Ee Puzhayum Kadannu’ will premiere on Asianet on February 2 and will air from Monday to Friday at 9.30 pm.
