Ananya Panday, Lakshya to headline Dharma Productions’ ‘Chand Mera Dil’

Dharma Productions has announced its next romantic drama, ‘Chand Mera Dil’, starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya.

Directed by Vivek Soni, known for ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar’ and the popular web series ‘Love Storiyaan’, the film is set for a 2025 release. Four posters released on Thursday give a glimpse into the film’s aesthetic, featuring Panday in traditional attire, hinting at a character rich in cultural flair.

The film’s tagline, “Pyaar mein thoda paagal hona hi padta hai” (Love makes you a little crazy), suggests a whimsical take on romance. Chand Mera Dil marks Lakshya’s fourth collaboration with Dharma Productions after Dostana 2, Bedhadak, and Kill. Notably, Kill, released in 2023, served as Lakshya’s debut. Although Dostana 2 and Bedhadak were shelved, Lakshya praised producer Karan Johar for unwavering support despite these setbacks, PTI reported.

This film also sees Panday returning to the silver screen after her recent OTT successes, including ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’, ‘Call Me Bae’, and ‘CTRL’. She last appeared in ‘Dream Girl 2’ with Ayushmann Khurrana in 2023.

Fans can look forward to more updates on ‘Chand Mera Dil’ as Dharma Productions gears up for what promises to be a fresh take on romance.
