Journalist and television anchor Amish Devgan has ended his 10-year association with Network18, and News18 India.

Devgan announced his exit during the latest episode of his popular debate show ‘Aar Paar’. While saying goodbye to the organisation, he thanked viewers for their continued love and support throughout his journey.

In an Instagram post, Devgan described his viewers as his family and said that he would meet them soon on a new platform. He also credited the love and support of his audience for helping him complete such a long journey in journalism.

Looking back at his 10 years with News18 India, Devgan said that viewers had not treated him only as an anchor but had made him a part of their family. He expressed his gratitude for the trust and affection he received from the audience during his time with the channel.

Devgan also spoke about his popular debate show ‘Aar Paar’. He said that over the last 10 years, the show was not just his show but had become ‘the show of the country.’ The programme became an important part of News18 India’s prime-time programming and was known for its political and current affairs debates.

Devgan joined Network18 in 2016 and gradually became one of the prominent faces of News18 India. Over the years, he hosted several major discussions and debates on issues related to politics, national affairs and current developments.
