Amazon MX Player has announced its upcoming original series ‘Ab Hoga Hisaab’, a revenge drama set against the socio-political landscape of Punjab. The series, which will stream free of cost on the platform, brings together an ensemble cast led by Sanjay Kapoor, Shaheer, Mouni Roy and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, and promises a gritty narrative rooted in ambition, brotherhood and survival.

As per a press release issued by Amazon MX Player, ‘Ab Hoga Hisaab’ is loosely inspired by true events and follows the turbulent journey of two brothers, Bobby and Bunty Manocha, whose lives spiral into a dangerous world of power and greed after a life-altering incident. The story explores the emotional and moral cost of choices made under pressure, set against the backdrop of migration, crime and fractured loyalties.

The announcement promo offers a dark and intense glimpse into the show’s universe, driven by themes of revenge and reckoning. Sanjay Kapoor is seen as Goldy Sekhon, a ruthless figure who believes in striking before time runs out, while Shaheer essays Bobby Manocha, a man pushed to his emotional and physical limits. Mouni Roy plays Kamna, a sharp and calculating character who understands the true price of power. The refrain, “Gunahon ka aur karmon ka… Ab hoga hisaab,” underscores the series’ morally charged tone.

Produced by Arré Studio and directed by Divyanshu Malhotra, the series also features Avinash Mishra, Harman Singha, Asheema Vardaan and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia in pivotal roles. The narrative leans heavily on themes of brotherhood, betrayal and resistance against overwhelming forces.
