Amazon MX Player has launched its latest courtroom drama ‘Amar Vishwas’, bringing a gripping legal story that explores truth, justice and loyalty.

The 10-episode series stars Rajeev Khandelwal in the lead role of an eccentric Mumbai lawyer who fights for the voiceless, while Ravi Behl essays a powerful grey character in the show.

According to a press release issued by the platform, the series revolves around a case that escalates from exploitation to murder when Amar defends a young woman against a powerful businessman, only to find himself standing opposite his own mentor, Digambar Dixit, also known as DD. The legal battle puts relationships and ethics to the test while unfolding an intense courtroom conflict.

Ravi Behl, who plays DD — a seasoned lawyer driven by control, strategy and calculated aggression — shared his experience of stepping into the character’s mindset. Speaking about the role, he said, “Playing this character was fun and also a little challenging because, usme DD aisi aisi harkatein karta hai jo I don’t think main real life mein kabhi karu, but maza aaya. It doesn’t actually change your personal understanding, but it definitely makes you more aware of your surroundings and the power, the ethics around everything, not just justice, but how human behaviour works.”

Recalling scenes that left a strong impression on him, the actor highlighted an intense sequence involving Bahar, played by Urvashi Pardeshi. He described a moment where his character repeatedly questions her while she remains visibly shaken and silent, eventually leading to an outburst. He also pointed to another significant scene featuring a confrontation with Amar Vishwas, where the two characters revisit their past association during a tense meeting, calling it one of the most intense moments in the series.
