The trailer for Amazon MiniTV‘s upcoming show ‘PhysicsWallah’ has been released.
The series, which was inspired by the inspiring journey of Alakh Pandey, the founder, and CEO of EdTech unicorn PhysicsWallah, stars Shreedhar Dubey as the lead.
‘PhysicsWallah’ raised $100 million in its first round of funding in July 2022, becoming India’s 101st unicorn.
Physics Wallah, founded in 2016 by Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwar as a YouTube channel, prepares students for competitive engineering and medical entrance examinations. The application and website were reportedly created by the two co-founders in 2020.
The show, produced and directed by Abhishek Dhandharia and developed by About Films, follows the journey of a teacher who revolutionized Indian education.
The trailer depicts the life of an extraordinary teacher (played by Shridhar Dubey) as he embarks on a journey to establish an institution where students can learn physics even in the most remote areas of the country.
The show is set to stream on Amazon mini tv from December 15 for free.
