The main characters of the audio drama series ‘Virus 2062’, which was voiced by actor pair Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, are slated to return for a second season after fans requested it directly on social media.
The duo is prepared to return to the studio for a fresh season of the show.
After being married in October 2022, this is their first project together.
Talking about the series, Ali said: “It is nice when fans, viewers, or even listeners reach out to you directly to tell you what they like and even remember your work. For example, ‘Virus 2062’. That audio series was so loved by people that Richa and I still get requests to come out with season 2. Now there is a growing popularity of podcasts, but this series came out in 2021 and it was a huge experiment for us even then to be part of something like this. It all pays off when you see a reaction like this.”
In the meanwhile, Ali will appear in Vishal Bharadwaj’s upcoming film, ‘Khufiya’.
Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Ashish Vidyarthi, Haque Badhon, and Alexx O’Nell also appear in the spy thriller.
The movie will be distributed directly to digital platforms like Netflix.
In addition, he will appear in ‘Kandahar’ with Gerard Butler.
On May 26, the movie is scheduled to be released globally.
