NAAD, a successful music event organized by ABP Ganga, the prominent news channel of Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand, was held at Uttaranchal University in Dehradun. More than 8000 music fans attended the event, which showcased Uttarakhand’s music and culture.

Top artists from Uttarakhand’s folk music legacy, including Jubin Nautiyal, Narendra Singh Negi, Pritam Bhartwan, Sangeeta Dhoundiyal, Kalpana Chauhan, Priyanka Mehar, Digvijay Singh Pariyar, Inder Arya, Jitendra Tomkyal, and Pandavas – The Band, took part in the four-hour event.
These folk music luminaries and doyens of Uttarakhand were joined by a new generation of performers who expressed themselves on a national scale while remaining true to their roots and history.
The event’s chief guest was Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. His attendance emphasized the government’s support for the event as well as its understanding of the significance of fostering Uttarakhand’s music and culture.
