Abhisheik Joshi has stepped down as the Head of ShemarooMe, marking the end of his impactful tenure at Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd.’s digital streaming division.
According to media reports, Joshi, who joined the platform in March 2023, played a pivotal role in strengthening its foothold in the OTT market through strategic content expansion and a focus on both Subscription Video on Demand (SVoD) and Advertising-based Video on Demand (AVoD) models.
During his time at ShemarooMe, Joshi spearheaded initiatives that helped the platform broaden its digital reach and enhance its audience engagement strategies in an increasingly competitive streaming landscape. His leadership saw ShemarooMe invest in diverse content offerings, catering to evolving consumer preferences and solidifying its place among India’s growing digital entertainment platforms.
