Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is all set to bring an extra dose of star power to the TATA IPL 2025 Final, as JioStar announced his participation in the grand finale’s presentation on June 3.
The actor, known for his love of cricket and deep-rooted connection with audiences, will be part of the pre-show festivities alongside Genelia D’Souza and the cast of his upcoming film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. The event will be telecast on both Star Sports and JioHotstar.
The announcement was made via a post on JioHotstar’s official Instagram handle, sparking excitement among fans of both cricket and cinema. Aamir’s appearance is expected to add a unique flavour to the broadcast, blending sporting intensity with celebrity charisma just ahead of the season’s biggest game.
Interestingly, Aamir Khan will not only make a studio appearance but will also step into the commentary box—a rare move for a mainstream film actor. Swapping his film scripts for match stats, Aamir is expected to engage with cricket legends and former TATA IPL champions during the match, sharing his predictions, game analysis, and possibly even getting into a bit of on-air cricket banter.
Sharing his enthusiasm ahead of the big night, Aamir said, “Nothing matches the energy and stakes of the TATA IPL Final and I’m quite excited to be at JioStar’s studio for this crucial game. Personally, I think this match is going to be a cracker, and I’m looking forward to commentating.”
With the TATA IPL Final already promising fireworks on the pitch, Aamir Khan’s involvement brings a larger-than-life aura to the event. His fans and cricket lovers can catch the much-anticipated final on June 3, only on the Star Sports Network and JioioHotstar.
