NODWIN Gaming has partnered with KRAFTON India Esports to launch BGMI: NAYE KHILADI, a new grassroots esports tournament aimed at identifying and nurturing the next generation of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) talent. Designed as an open-for-all competition, the tournament seeks to provide aspiring players from across the country with an opportunity to compete, gain visibility and take their first steps towards a professional esports career.
According to a NODWIN Gaming press release, registrations for BGMI: NAYE KHILADI are open from June 15-21. Built around the campaign theme ‘#AbTeriBaari’, the initiative is intended to create a structured pathway for emerging players and grassroots teams to showcase their skills on a national stage.
With a total prize pool of Rs.10 lakh, the tournament is positioned as one of India’s largest grassroots talent discovery initiatives for BGMI. The competition will begin with in-game qualifiers conducted within Battlegrounds Mobile India, where players’ performances in Classic Ranked matches during the qualification period will determine their eligibility for the next stage.

Following the qualifiers, the tournament will move through multiple rounds, eventually narrowing the field to the top 1,024 teams. These teams will advance to the NODWIN Gaming-operated tournament phase before battling it out in the all-online Grand Finals.
The organisers say the tournament has been created to give new and aspiring esports athletes meaningful opportunities to compete in a structured environment.
By lowering barriers to entry and encouraging broad participation, the initiative aims to strengthen the grassroots esports ecosystem and help identify future stars of Indian competitive gaming.
