After a brief gap from the big screen, Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to return with a new film alongside Salman Khan, in a project directed by filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., popularly known as Raj-DK. The film, described as a love story with a twist, is expected to push both actors into unfamiliar territory in terms of their on-screen characters.
According to a UNI report, the project is being positioned as a departure from the usual romantic template, with the narrative designed to explore new dynamics and storytelling styles. While the directors have not officially commented on the development, sources close to the team suggest that both Salman and Kareena will be seen in roles unlike anything they have attempted before.
Interestingly, it is understood that Salman Khan himself recommended the script to Kareena, continuing a long-standing professional rapport between the two. This is not the first time Salman has played a role in bringing Kareena on board for a film. Back in 2005, he had approached her for ‘Kyon Ki’, directed by Priyadarshan.
With Raj-DK known for their distinctive storytelling approach and genre-bending narratives, the upcoming film is expected to generate considerable buzz as it brings together two of Bollywood’s biggest stars in a fresh, unconventional setting
