S8UL has announced its participation across 13 titles at the Esports World Cup 2026, marking the highest number of entries by an Indian organisation at a global esports event. The move comes shortly after S8UL’s selection under the Club Partner Program, further strengthening India’s representation on the international competitive gaming stage.
According to an Esports press release, the organisation will enter qualification pathways across a diverse set of titles including ‘Apex Legends’, ‘Battlegrounds Mobile India’, ‘Call of Duty: Warzone’, ‘Fortnite’, ‘Street Fighter 6’, ‘TEKKEN 8’, and ‘PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS’, among others. The participation spans PC, console, and mobile ecosystems, underlining S8UL’s growing multi-platform footprint.
This milestone reflects the organisation’s expansion across genres ranging from FPS and battle royale to fighting games, sports simulation, strategy, and racing. It also reinforces S8UL’s ambition to build a strong global presence as a multi-title esports entity. The announcement follows its selection as a Club Partner by the Esports World Cup Foundation for the second consecutive year, placing it among 40 leading esports organisations worldwide.
Commenting on the development, Animesh Agarwal said that competing across 13 titles reflects both the organisation’s long-term vision and the scale of its ambition. He noted that insights gained from last year’s tournament in Riyadh have helped refine S8UL’s approach, with a sharper focus on talent investment, structural strength, and consistent execution across titles.
The Esports World Cup 2026 is scheduled to take place in Riyadh from July 6 to August 23, featuring a record prize pool of $75 million (approximately INR 700 crore). The tournament is expected to host over 2,000 players and 200 clubs from more than 100 countries competing across 24 titles. At the centre is the Club Championship, carrying a $30 million prize pool, rewarding consistent performance across multiple games.
S8UL heads into the tournament on the back of strong performances. At the previous edition, the organisation reached the Grand Finals in Apex Legends and secured Top 8 finishes in Chess and EA Sports FC. The 2026 campaign marks a significant expansion with new titles such as ‘Fortnite’, ‘Honor of Kings’, ‘PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS’, ‘Street Fighter 6’, and ‘Trackmania’ added to its roster.
The organisation has also built solid momentum this year across domestic and international competitions. Its BGMI roster won the BGMI India Series 2026, while its MOBA Legends 5v5 team clinched the Rai Star x Gyan Gaming Cup. Grandmaster Nihal Sarin registered a major international victory at the Menorca Open, and its VALORANT roster secured the VCSA Split 1 title. On the global stage, S8UL’s Apex Legends team delivered a historic Top 5 finish at the ALGS 2026 Championship, the best-ever result by an Indian organisation in the title.
With its largest-ever multi-title campaign and strong competitive form, S8UL’s journey at the Esports World Cup 2026 marks a significant step forward not just for the organisation, but for India’s growing presence in global esports.
