The Indian entertainment industry is gearing up for a major celebration as the News18 Showsha Reel Awards 2026 is set to take place on March 7 in Mumbai. Organised by Network18 Group, the awards aim to honour outstanding achievements across cinema and OTT, recognising films, web series, performances and creative talent that captured the attention of audiences over the past year.
According to a press release, the event will bring together some of the biggest names from across the entertainment industry for an evening dedicated to storytelling, creativity and artistic excellence. The ceremony is expected to feature a wide range of award categories spanning films and digital content, reflecting the growing influence of streaming platforms alongside traditional cinema.
The evening will be hosted by the popular duo of Maniesh Paul and Mini Mathur, who are set to add energy and entertainment to the star-studded gathering. The awards will also be guided by an eminent jury panel comprising industry veterans such as Priyadarshan, Tanvi Azmi, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Mahima Chaudhry, Shruti Mahajan and Saurabh Sachdeva. With their collective experience in filmmaking, acting and casting, the jury will evaluate nominations and select winners across multiple categories.
The awards ceremony will also see the presence of several prominent figures from the film and digital entertainment space. Among the notable attendees expected to grace the evening are Madhuri Dixit, Manoj Bajpayee, Pankaj Tripathi, Shabana Azmi, Aneet Padda, Ahaan Panday, Ishaan Khatter, Asha Parekh, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Monika Panwar, Sanya Malhotra and Mona Singh, among many others.
In addition to actors and performers, several influential voices from the creative community will also attend the ceremony. Filmmaker Neeraj Ghaywan, creative producer Reshu Nath and filmmaker Suparn S. Varma are among the industry professionals expected to be part of the evening, reflecting the collaborative ecosystem that continues to shape Indian storytelling.
