GTC Punjabi has partnered with Legends League Cricket to broadcast Season 4 of the tournament with exclusive Punjabi commentary on satellite television across global markets, marking a first-of-its-kind initiative for Punjabi-speaking cricket audiences worldwide.
The announcement was made through a social media post by the broadcaster, highlighting that for the first time in the history of any cricket league, a private Punjabi channel will air matches worldwide in Punjabi. The move aims to bring T20 cricket closer to Punjabi viewers across India and the global diaspora by offering coverage in their native language.
The upcoming season of Legends League Cricket will run from March 6 to March 25, featuring 19 T20 matches scheduled in prime time between 7 pm and 11 pm, with nearly four hours of live match content daily. Matches will be played across multiple cities including Amritsar, Agra, Gwalior, Patna and Coimbatore, culminating in the grand finale on March 25.

The tournament will feature several iconic names from international and Indian cricket, including Chris Gayle, Martin Guptill, Harbhajan Singh, Shikhar Dhawan and Dinesh Karthik, among others. Positioned as a premium T20 property, the league brings together former international stars and established players, offering high recall value, family co-viewing appeal and strong advertiser interest.
Legends League Cricket has steadily built a reputation for showcasing legendary cricketers in a competitive T20 format, combining nostalgia with high-quality sporting action. The Punjabi-language broadcast is expected to expand the league’s reach while strengthening engagement among regional audiences.
GTC Punjabi operates under the broader GTC Network, a global Punjabi-language broadcasting group focused on delivering entertainment, movies, music and sports content to Punjabi audiences across India and international markets. The network has been expanding its portfolio with a strong emphasis on regional storytelling and culturally relevant programming, positioning itself as a key player in Punjabi-language media.
With this partnership, GTC Punjabi aims to further strengthen its commitment to world-class Punjabi-language sports and entertainment, while bringing international cricket action closer to viewers in a more accessible and culturally connected format.
