Collective Artists Network has announced its inaugural content slate under the banner HistoryVerse, a new storytelling universe rooted in Indian mythology and history. The slate brings together a mix of theatrical films and streaming series, marking a significant step in the company’s ambition to reimagine culturally iconic narratives for contemporary, global audiences.
According to an UNI report, the HistoryVerse slate will be produced under Collective Studios, the company’s newly formed unified production arm that consolidates original content development across platforms. The announcement was first reported by Variety. In total, eight titles have been revealed, drawing inspiration from revered figures and traditions such as ‘Hanuman’, ‘Krishna’, ‘Shiva’, ‘Shivaji’, ‘Durga’, ‘Kali’ and ‘Swami Samarth’.
The projects are envisioned as large-scale, immersive narratives designed to appeal to audiences across age groups and geographies. Three of the newly announced titles are planned for theatrical release, while two are being developed as series, with several more projects currently in different stages of development. The company said the aim is to create stories that resonate deeply with Indian audiences while also travelling well internationally.
HistoryVerse builds on Collective Artists Network’s earlier experiment with an AI-powered ‘Mahabharat’ series, which marked the first step in its long-term strategy to adapt culturally rooted material using cutting-edge technology. The new slate continues that approach, positioning technology as a key enabler of scale and visual ambition.
