Balaji Telefilms has unveiled Kutingg, its new digital entertainment platform aimed at delivering consistent, engaging content tailored for India’s mobile-first audiences. Designed as a destination for “kadak” everyday entertainment, Kutingg brings together culturally rooted stories, innovative formats and familiar narratives, positioning itself as a go-to platform for daily viewing across age groups.

According to a press release, the platform officially went live on 19 January 2026 with a diverse slate of original programming. The launch was marked by the presence of Balaji Telefilms’ Group Chief Revenue Officer Nitin Burman and Meghna Joshi, Head of Content, along with several actors associated with Kutingg’s original shows, including Iqbal Khan, Sharad Malhotra, Abigail Pande, Shehzad Sheikh, Chahat Pandey and Aishwarya Sakhuja. The event underscored the platform’s vision of offering accessible, family-friendly entertainment through a mix of fiction, non-fiction and short-form formats.

Positioned as a one-stop destination for family entertainment, Kutingg offers a structured and thoughtfully curated weekly content lineup that caters to different viewing moods. The platform blends long-format fiction, binge-worthy Kutingg Originals, vertical short-form series and engaging non-fiction shows, ensuring there is fresh content available every day. With a strong emphasis on vertical video storytelling, Kutingg is designed to deliver seamless and immersive experiences suited to on-the-go mobile consumption.

The launch slate features a range of titles across genres, including the family drama ‘Saas Bahu aur Swaad’, which airs from Monday to Thursday, and the Kutingg Original binge show ‘Missing Priya’, streaming every Friday. The platform also introduces vertical series such as ‘Janlewa Ishq’ and ‘Romeo Ke Dil Mein Juliet’ on Saturdays, while the non-fiction show ‘Honestly Why Not?’ anchors the Sunday lineup. Together, the slate reflects Kutingg’s strategy of appointment viewing combined with snackable content formats.

Beyond the initial lineup, Kutingg has announced a robust pipeline of upcoming originals that further strengthen its commitment to consistent, everyday entertainment. These include ‘Mujhe Tu Chahiye’ featuring Iqbal Khan and Mansi Scott, ‘ACP Vikrant’ with Sharad Malhotra and Vinay Anand, Jaffna Hills starring Aishwarya Sakhuja and Sidharth Bhardwaj, and ‘Ghar Tera Mera’ featuring Karishma Sawant and Shehzad Sheikh.

The platform is also developing multiple vertical series such as ‘Mauka’, ‘Jhoothey Savere Sacchi Raatein’, ‘Khamosh Shikari’, ‘Secret Pati’ & ‘Power Game’, ‘Secret Heir’ and ‘Pyaar Ek Dhokha’, along with daily family dramas and binge-worthy titles including ‘Ishq Tandoori’, ‘Pyaar Kii Raahein 2’ and ‘Padosi Patrol’.

Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Dwivedi, Group CEO and CFO of Balaji Telefilms, said Kutingg represents a focused step forward in the company’s digital journey, built around the insight that audiences today seek familiar, accessible and consistent content. He noted that the original slate reflects a disciplined content strategy and a sustainable approach to building Kutingg as a credible, family-friendly entertainment destination.

Nitin Burman, Chief Revenue Officer, Balaji Telefilms, added that Kutingg’s programming has been designed to mirror real viewing habits, including short bursts of consumption, appointment viewing and daily engagement. He highlighted that this approach creates meaningful opportunities for brands and partners to connect with highly engaged audiences across formats.

Meghna Joshi, Head of Content, said the platform’s focus has been on creating stories that fit seamlessly into everyday life. She explained that the slate combines family dramas, binge-worthy originals, vertical formats and non-fiction content, all curated to ensure viewers have something relatable and enjoyable to watch throughout the week.

Now operating as an independent digital platform under the Balaji Telefilms umbrella, Kutingg aims to build a strong identity around its promise of “Entertainment ka Dose, Har Roz,” offering a wide range of original programming tailored specifically for India’s mobile-first audience.
