The teaser of the upcoming film ‘Tu Yaa Main’ was unveiled on Friday, offering a gripping first look into a story rooted in the world of content creators, where curiosity, clout and chemistry collide. The short preview introduces audiences to two influencers from starkly different backgrounds who come together for a collaboration that begins as a spirited adventure but soon spirals into something far more dangerous.
According to an IANS report, what initially unfolds as a fun, high-energy outing gradually takes a dark and unsettling turn. The teaser reveals the duo facing a life-threatening situation when they come face to face with a menacing crocodile, transforming what was meant to be a casual date into a tense fight for survival. Blending romance, adrenaline and looming danger, the film promises a fresh, new-age narrative aimed at viewers seeking something unconventional around Valentine’s Day.
Starring Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor, ‘Tu Yaa Main’ positions itself as a “#DateFright” experience, where thrills replace typical romantic tropes. The teaser suggests a narrative that explores not just attraction and ambition, but also the risks that come with chasing viral moments and online relevance.
The film is directed by Bejoy Nambiar and produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma under the Colour Yellow banner, in collaboration with Vinod Bhanushali and Kamlesh Bhanushali of Bhanushali Studios Limited. ‘Tu Yaa Main’ is slated for a theatrical release on February 13, 2026.
Adarsh Gourav, who plays one of the lead roles, has steadily built a reputation for choosing complex and character-driven projects. Trained in Hindustani classical music, Gourav began his acting journey as a child artiste and appeared in films such as My Name Is Khan, where he portrayed a younger version of Shah Rukh Khan’s character.
He later gained widespread recognition with his performance as Balram Menon in the Prime Video series Made in Heaven, which highlighted his ability to portray layered, contemporary characters. His international breakthrough came with ‘The White Tiger’, where his portrayal of Balram Halwai earned him global acclaim and a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama—making him one of the few Indian actors to achieve the feat.
Gourav has since featured in international projects, including Apple TV+ series Extrapolations, and continues to be regarded for his grounded performances and thoughtful choice of roles. With Tu Yaa Main, he steps into a genre that blends romance and survival, setting the stage for a film that aims to keep audiences on edge.
