DishTV has appointed Amit Sarabhai as the National Sales Head – VZY TV, strengthening its leadership team at a time when media and device-led businesses are sharpening their focus on revenue growth and market expansion.
The move signals the company’s intent to scale its sales operations and deepen its presence across competitive, high-volume consumer markets.
Sarabhai brings with him extensive experience across leading organisations such as Paytm, Panasonic India and Samsung Electronics. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation for driving channel strategy, expanding consumer reach and executing revenue-led initiatives in fast-paced and highly competitive environments. His professional journey reflects a deep understanding of both traditional and new-age distribution ecosystems.
A graduate of Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur, Sarabhai has consistently focused on building scalable sales engines and nurturing long-term partner ecosystems. His approach has been centred on aligning market reach with sustainable revenue outcomes, a skill set increasingly critical in today’s evolving media and device landscape.
The appointment also highlights a broader shift underway in the industry, where companies are doubling down on leaders who can effectively translate scale and reach into consistent, long-term revenue. With Sarabhai at the helm of sales for VZY TV, DishTV appears poised to sharpen its commercial strategy and accelerate growth in an increasingly competitive market.
