Ultra Play OTT is set to expand its Hindi content slate with the premiere of ‘Mamta Child Factory’, a social-comedy headlined by Marathi cinema favourite Prathamesh Parab, who appears in a prominent Hindi lead role.
The film begins streaming on the platform from December 12 and brings a blend of humour and emotional storytelling anchored in real-world issues.
Directed by Mohsin Khan, the film follows two small-town real estate agents whose routine lives shift unexpectedly when they cross paths with a determined doctor aiming to open a surrogacy hospital.
The narrative mixes light-hearted comedy with an underlying social message, exploring how everyday individuals are pulled into an extraordinary mission. At the centre of the chaos are Bhau and Chochya, earnest yet slightly naïve agents whose attempt to support Dr. Amruta Deshmukh’s vision sets off a chain of unpredictable events and life lessons.
Prathamesh Parab, widely appreciated for his breakthrough role in ‘Timepass’ and his appearance in the Hindi blockbuster ‘Drishyam’, brings both spontaneity and emotional depth to the story. His Hindi lead debut marks a significant phase in his career, reflecting his versatility and his growing appeal among audiences beyond Marathi cinema. He is joined by Prithvik Pratap, Ankita Lande Patil, and Vijay Patwardhan, who play pivotal roles in bringing the film’s uniquely grounded humour to life.
Speaking about the film, Sushilkumar Agrawal, Founder & Chairman of Ultra Media & Entertainment Group, said, “At Ultra Play, we are committed to supporting stories that bring together meaningful themes and engaging entertainment. ‘Mamta Child Factory’ does exactly that; it uses humour to talk about real social challenges while highlighting how ordinary people can spark extraordinary change. We are delighted to present Prathamesh Parab in a fresh Hindi avatar and are confident that audiences across India will connect with this film.”
With this release, Ultra Play continues to build a diverse catalogue of Hindi content—from socially conscious dramas to light family entertainers—aimed at viewers across the country. The platform emphasises fresh storytelling and emerging talent, positioning itself as a home for distinctive narratives under one digital umbrella.
