Prime Video has confirmed that its upcoming thriller series ‘56 Days’, starring Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia, will premiere on February 18, 2026.
The eight-part series is adapted from Catherine Ryan Howard’s bestselling novel of the same name, which became a global hit for its gripping blend of romance, mystery and psychological tension.
According to a PTI report, ‘56 Days’ follows the unsettling and fast-moving relationship between Oliver and Ciara, two strangers who meet by chance in a supermarket and are instantly drawn to each other. Their connection deepens quickly, set against the backdrop of circumstances that push them into an unexpectedly intense bond.
The narrative takes a dark turn when, ‘56 days’ after their first meeting, homicide investigators arrive at Oliver’s apartment. Inside, they discover an unidentified body—brutally murdered and intentionally decomposed—raising chilling questions about what unfolded between the couple and what secrets they may have been hiding.
The series promises to unravel the truth through shifting timelines, psychological undercurrents and the growing sense that nothing in Oliver and Ciara’s story is as it initially appeared.
With its atmospheric premise, bestselling source material and a cast led by two strong young performers, ‘56 Days’ is positioned as one of Prime Video’s most anticipated thrillers of the coming year.
The series will be available for streaming worldwide from February 18.
