Kanika Dhillon and Kriti Sanon’s production ‘Do Patti’ has earned another milestone, with its hauntingly beautiful song ‘Raanjhan’ emerging as the most-heard Indian track of 2025.
The song has captured listeners across the country with its evocative lyrics and soul-stirring composition, adding to the film’s growing list of achievements.
According to a UNI report, this recognition marks yet another high for writer-producer Kanika, whose Netflix thriller ‘Do Patti’ was already celebrated as the most-watched Indian film of 2024. The track ‘Raanjhan’, sung by Parampara Tandon, composed by Sachet-Parampara, and penned by Kausar Munir, continued to dominate playlists throughout the year, becoming one of the most impactful heartbreak anthems on Spotify India in 2025.
The success of ‘Raanjhan’ also strengthens the winning streak of Kanika’s production banner, Katha Pictures, which produced ‘Do Patti’ alongside Kriti Sanon’s Blue Butterfly Films. Their earlier collaboration, ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba’, had already cemented their position in the content creation space, reflecting the evolving creative vision Kanika has built through projects like ‘Manmarziyaan’, ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ and ‘Rashmi Rocket’.
With the continued popularity of ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba’, the success of ‘Do Patti’, and now the extraordinary rise of ‘Raanjhan’, Kanika Dhillon is setting new benchmarks as both writer and producer. Expressing her gratitude, she said the love for the song is “truly humbling,” while praising Parampara, Sachet, Kausar Munir and Bob for crafting a track that has resonated so deeply with audiences.
