The ‘Don’ franchise could be heading towards an extraordinary cinematic moment, with reports suggesting that Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan are being considered for cameo appearances in Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming ‘Don 3’.
According to a UNI report, the filmmaker, who revived the franchise with ‘Don’ (2006) and ‘Don 2’ (2011) starring Shah Rukh Khan, is now reimagining the cult saga with Ranveer Singh stepping into the lead role. The original ‘Don’, directed by Chandra Barot in 1978 with Bachchan in the title role, continues to remain an iconic classic of Hindi cinema.
Speculation indicates that both Bachchan and Khan have been approached for special cameos, though discussions are still underway. If confirmed, ‘Don 3’ would mark the first time the three stars—Bachchan, Khan, and Singh—share the screen, creating an unprecedented generational crossover.
While there has been no official confirmation from the makers, the possibility of seeing two legendary ‘Dons’ alongside the new face of the franchise has already ignited excitement among fans, making ‘Don 3’ one of the most anticipated films in development.
