The wait is finally over for fans of high-octane action thrillers, as the makers of ‘War 2’ have officially locked July 25 as the trailer release date. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra under the YRF banner, the much-anticipated film brings together two powerhouses of Indian cinema Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR alongside Kiara Advani in lead roles.
According to UNI, the chosen date July 25 holds special significance, as it marks the completion of 25 years in the film industry for both Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. The occasion is being celebrated with the launch of the trailer, adding to the emotional and cinematic weight of the project.
Taking to Instagram, Yash Raj Films unveiled a striking new poster of War 2 along with the announcement. The caption read, “In 2025, 2 Icons of Indian cinema complete 25 years of their glorious cinematic journey. To celebrate this once in a lifetime moment, YRF marks July 25 as the trailer launch date of WAR 2!! Here’s to the most epic clash of the TITANS!! Mark your calendars.”
‘War 2’ is set to release in cinemas worldwide on August 14, 2025, and will be available in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. The film is a part of the ambitious YRF Spy Universe, following in the footsteps of massive blockbusters like ‘Pathaan’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, and ‘War’. With an ensemble cast, gripping action sequences, and a narrative poised for grandeur, ‘War 2’ promises to be one of the biggest cinematic events of the year.
